I SEE HAWKS IN L.A.

24 May 2018

Our great friends from West of the Sierra Nevada, I See Hawks In L.A., are releasing their first album in five years on 29 June: “Live And Never Learn”.
This would always be exciting news – as Dave Alvin said, they are “one of California’s unique treasures” – but what makes this release particularly exciting for us is that two of the songs on the record – “White Cross” and “Singing In The Wind” – were co-written by Paul Lacques and Rob Waller of the Hawks together with TGI’s Peter.
A pre-release review of the album says:
‘On an album full of great-sounding tracks, it is two songs that were co-written with Peter Davies of the UK’s Good Intentions that really stand out…”White Cross” and “Singing In The Wind” have intelligent lyrics, great melodies…’
It is an honour to work with such wonderful musicians, and we look forward to the Hawks’ UK summer tour, when we hope to share a stage and a beer or two with them.
Buy the record, and go and see them.
Bien hecho, amigos!
