NEW VIDEOS

13 April 2017

Our friend Mark Indictor has produced three new videos of The Good Intentions playing live in Altadena, CA last October. Featured are “According To A Witness”, “Appalachian Girl” and “Your Old Flame”, the latter two from the new album “The Long Unbroken Line”.

Mark is actually playing some wonderful fiddle on a couple of the videos, and has done a fantastic job with the video production.

The full review can be seen on the Press page.

Country To Country Festival

10 March 2017

Apologies to any of you who were going along to Country To Country at the O2, London, this weekend, hoping to see us play.
We felt that we had no choice but to pull out of the show, for reasons we have referred to the Musicians’ Union.

Graham Seaman

2 February 2017

If you’ve been to one of our more recent shows, you might have noticed that another guitarist has been sneaking onto the stage with us. This is the redoubtable Graham D’Annunzio-Seaman, an old friend of ours, who has been playing guitar, mandolin and bouzouki with us, as well as adding some killer harmony vocals. As was the legendary Ian Stewart to the Stones, so is Graham to us.

He will be with us at our next show – 23 February at the Cavern, at Jimmy Rae and the Moonshine Girls album launch.

“The Long Unbroken Line” has been included at #3 in his Best Of 2016 by the legendary Spencer Leigh, of Country Music People and BBC fame.

This is indeed a thrill for us – Spencer is well known for not being afraid to write a bad review! – and we’d like to thank him for his integrity and his support.

MidWest Review

New Review of: “The Long Unbroken Line” from MidWest Record (US):

“There seems to be a new underground in UK of UK based ‘Americana’ groups that are actually musos reclaiming the string band

music brought over here by those who would become hillbillies that would bring down home sounds to prominence. Too strong

to be just a labor of love, this married duo just plain hits it out of the park from the back porch giving organic sounds

a great treatment with just about no trace of them not being ‘authentic’ roots practitioners. Not exactly folk music, it’s

certainly some kind of folk hyphenate sound that’s entirely welcome. Hot stuff.”
